“Fancy" is a 9 yr old registered Tennessee Walker Mare. She is 17 hands tall, a black beauty with a star on her forehead. She is registered with TWHBEA. She has mostly been used as a broodmare and the previous owners’ grandkids rode her some. We have had her a few years and have rode her on organized trail rides and camped with her in the Homochitto National Forest Park, in Gloster, MS. She does great on the trails, loves baths, loads with very minimum coaxing, stands for the farrier, is very affectionate and is easy to catch. She needs more ground work and is nervous about letting people get on her. The more time we spend with her and the more regular time spent riding her, the better she gets at letting us get on her. My husband works all the time, so he hasn't ridden her as much as he would like to. She is best ridden using a bit-less bridle or plain hackamore and will quietly go wherever the other horses go and if you are patient, she will go wherever you ask her, without other horses. She needs someone who has time for her or someone who knows the old foundation bloodlines and wants to use her for a very valuable broodmare. She has WGC on top and bottom. Midnight Sun, Ebony Masterpiece, Go Boy's Shadow, Delight Bumin Around, all WGCs. Unfortunately, we don't have the facilities to have her bred and care for colts. She has never been sick, is UTD on shots, including West Nile and Strangles, is wormed every 6-8 weeks and has a current, negative, coggins report.
